For your convenience, your bill can be deducted directly from your bank account. Your payment will automatically process on the due date, then will be deducted from your bank account the following business day and you never have to worry about being past due again.
e-Bill
With e-Bill, you no longer have to worry about not getting your bill on time. By setting up an online account on our website, you will receive the option to sign up for e-Bill. You will receive an email each month when your bill has been generated and is ready to view through your online account.
If you have any questions about your bill or to sign up for bank draft and/or e-Bill, please call our Customer Service Department at (865) 483-1377 or toll-free at (888) 483-1377 or visit www.orud.org for more information.
Pay by phone
To pay by phone, simply call our automated payment system at (865) 220-6600, and have your account number and credit card or e-check information handy. There is no fee to make your payment using our automated phone system.
Levelized Billing
Take the worry and guesswork out of budgeting for your energy bills. Our Levelized Billing option means your monthly payment amount will be spread out evenly to prevent extreme costs throughout the year. However, your amount will fluctuate some each month to reflect an accurate 12 month average. You will be able to sign up for Levelized Billing at any point during the year, as long as there is 12 months of usage history at the service address and your account is fully paid and current on all charges. Upon discontinuance of service, for any reason, settlement shall be made immediately for the balance in the customer’s account. Note: If a refund of a levelized billing surplus is requested instead of allowing it to pay future bills, you will be ineligible to re-enroll in the levelized billing program for 6 months. Refunding the surplus reduces the effectiveness of the program. The intent of the surplus is to help stabilize billing over a 12-month period rather than serve as a mechanism for a refund.
