Request a service call
If you are an active ORUD customer, and would like to request a service call, simply fill out the required fields below to schedule a call for the next business day or later. Regular business hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, excluding holidays.
- Inspection: Free on newly installed/repaired appliances or HVAC
- Service Call: $30
All service charges will be added to your monthly natural gas bill.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This request is not to be used in case of an emergency. We have 24-hour emergency response service. After-hours emergency calls will be transferred to an on-call service person for immediate response. By calling (865) 483-1377 or toll-free (888) 483-1377.

Disconnect Service
To terminate service, a request must be submitted at least one working day prior to the requested termination date. You may do this in person at either office location, or by completing the disconnect request form at the link below. The disconnection date, your service address, your forwarding address, and a copy of your ID must be provided with the signed request. If you are not the named account holder, a Power of Attorney (POA) or Executor of Estate (EOE) document is also required. Please note if you are participating in the levelized billing program, upon discontinuance of service, settlement shall be made immediately for the any balance in the customer’s account. Termination request dates must be a working day.
